From: Things Are Weird Enough Juxtapoz Magazine, April 1999

VM: "I don't usually take photos when I'm doing a movie but I have. There are a couple of images [taken during the filming of] a movie called The Passion Of Darkling Noon. I thought the images were interesting, (...) a girl [Ashley Judd on the drive home from a night shoot] with blood all over her face, in her bathrobe, smiling and taking pictures of the sunrise."

COMMENTS:

EOS: One of the most intriguing photographs of VM, with a strong "David Lynch feeling", first because of the surreal look of Ashley Judd's bright smile on her blood stained face, and second for her resemblance to Laura Palmer from "Twin Peaks".
